Breaded fried ice cream is a gourmet dessert that combines a crispy golden crust with sweet tenderness inside. This culinary masterpiece hails from Italy, where they love to experiment with contrasts of flavors and textures. Cornflakes and coconut flakes create an appetizing crunchy shell, while cinnamon and vanilla add a refined aromatic note. It is prepared quickly: the breaded ice cream pieces are first chilled and then instantly fried in hot oil. This dish is perfect as a stunning final touch to a meal or as a standalone dessert that can surprise guests with its unusual combination of temperatures and textures.

We cut the ice cream briquettes into pieces. Ideally, these are balls, but then they need to be deep-fried. If you just want to use a skillet, it's important to remember that the breading layer needs to cook through, so a small thickness is necessary.

We coat the ice cream pieces in breadcrumbs, then dip them in egg and again in breadcrumbs. It's important for the layer to be thick, without gaps. We place the preparations in the freezer for at least half an hour. Then we heat oil in a pan and quickly fry the ice cream on both sides over high heat.
