Glazed donuts are a symbol of comfort and enjoyment from American cuisine. Their soft, airy dough with subtle vanilla notes is enveloped in sweet chocolate glaze, creating a harmony of flavor. These donuts are perfect for breakfast with a cup of aromatic coffee or as an exquisite dessert for evening tea. The history of this treat begins in traditional European recipes but gained special popularity in the USA due to its versatility and accessibility. Baked rather than fried, they have a lighter texture, making them a pleasant alternative to classic donuts. Topped with coconut flakes or bright edible confetti, they become festive treats that can lift spirits and provide a moment of sweet pleasure.

1
First, we preheat the oven to 200 degrees. While the oven is heating, we mix vanilla sugar and egg in a bowl. We add powdered sugar and melted butter, mixing thoroughly. We incorporate milk and gradually add flour mixed with baking powder.
- Vanilla sugar: 2 teaspoons
- Chicken egg: 1 piece
- Powdered sugar: 100 g
- Butter: 1 tablespoon
- Milk: 0.5 glass
- Wheat flour: 2 glasss
- Baking powder: 2 teaspoons

The dough should be quite thick and sticky. We will cover it with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Take out the dough and mix until it becomes smooth and elastic (you can add flour if desired). Roll it out to a thickness of about 1 cm and shape into donuts.
- Wheat flour: 2 glasss

We will place the future donuts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Put them in the oven for 15-20 minutes. The donuts should double in size and brown.

While they cool to room temperature, let's prepare the glaze. Break the chocolate into pieces, add a little hot water, and heat until the chocolate melts. Then add softened butter and powdered sugar, mixing until smooth.
- Chocolate: 100 g
- Water: 3 tablespoons
- Butter: 1 tablespoon
- Powdered sugar: 100 g

We will put the glaze in a wide dish and dip the donuts in it, placing them on a plate and sprinkling with coconut flakes or edible confetti.
