Tuile (Almond Cookies)

Tuiles are refined French almond cookies inspired by the elegant curved tiled roofs of Provence, where they originate. Light, crispy, and airy, they possess a delicate sweetness highlighted by the aroma of almonds. The preparation of tuiles uses minimal ingredients, but their harmony creates an elegant flavor. The crispy texture is achieved through the thinness of the dough, while light caramelization during baking gives the cookies a golden color. Tuiles pair wonderfully with desserts: ice cream, creams, or fruits and serve as an exquisite decoration for dishes. This is a classic example of French pastry simplicity that combines sophistication and tenderness in one bite.
