Summer salad with melon and strawberries is a vibrant combination of freshness and sweetness born in European cuisine, where simplicity and naturalness of ingredients play a key role. Sweet musk melon and juicy strawberries create a harmony of flavors complemented by the tangy zest of lime and the delicate aroma of honey. This salad is the perfect choice for hot summer days when you crave something light and refreshing. Powdered sugar adds a soft sweetness, while mint gives it a touch of freshness. It is best served slightly chilled to allow the aromas to fully unfold. It pairs wonderfully with light drinks and is great as a morning or evening snack, as well as an elegant dessert for summer picnics or outdoor dinners.

1
Cut the melon into large cubes. If you have the time and desire, you can scoop out balls from the melon using a melon baller. I must admit, I'm a bit lazy to do that). Cut the strawberries in half and mix them with the melon.
- Cantaloupe: 1 piece
- Strawberry: 300 g
2
Squeeze the lime and grate some zest, then mix the juice and zest with honey.
- Lime: 1 piece
- Honey: 1 teaspoon
3
Dress the salad with the prepared dressing and let it sit for 5-7 minutes, then serve, generously dusted with powdered sugar and garnished with a sprig of mint.
- Powdered sugar: to taste
- Mint: 5 g
