Sift the flour, mix it with the baking powder and ground almonds.
- Wheat flour: 375 g
- Baking powder: 0.5 teaspoon
- Chopped almonds: 125 g

Beat the eggs with sugar, add the flour mixture and vanilla sugar, and mix.
- Chicken egg (large): 3 pieces
- Sugar: 200 g
- Wheat flour: 375 g

Cut the cold butter into small pieces and mix it with the flour mixture.
- Butter: 200 g

Knead the dough by hand until smooth. Form it into a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

Roll out the prepared dough to a thickness of no more than 4 mm, and cut out circles with a diameter of 3-4 cm. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and arrange the dough circles on it.

Place the baking sheet in the oven for 10-12 minutes, then remove the finished circles with a wide knife and let cool. Spread half of the circles with jam and cover with the remaining circles.

You can also cover them with glaze. For this, mix powdered sugar and milk in a small bowl until smooth. Let it sit for 30 minutes, then spread it on the cooled cookies; otherwise, the cookies will absorb the glaze.
