Raisin buns are a fragrant and delicate treat with a crispy crust and soft center. Their history roots back to British culinary traditions, where sweet pastries with dried fruits were part of cozy family tea times. Raisins infused with the aroma of cinnamon and nuts add pleasant sweetness, while the sugar glaze finishes the flavor with a light citrus freshness. These buns pair wonderfully with tea or coffee, making them an ideal dessert for leisurely conversations. They are suitable for warm home evenings and festive gatherings, and their simplicity in preparation makes them a favorite choice for both novice cooks and experienced bakers.
