Kefir Pancakes
4 servings
30 minutes
A classic everyday food that most often appears in the house when you need to save kefir. If you handle the soda, which is responsible for the fluffiness of the pancakes, correctly, then their thickness will be no worse than yeast ones. You can eat them with jam, honey or sour cream, or just like that, lightly sprinkled with powdered sugar.

1
Mix kefir with sugar, salt, and baking soda.
- Kefir: 0.5 l
- Sugar: 3 tablespoons
- Salt: 1 teaspoon
- Soda: 1 teaspoon

2
Gradually mix in the flour until you achieve a thick sour cream consistency.
- Wheat flour: 2 glasss

3
Heat the pan. If it's not non-stick, add oil: butter, vegetable oil, or a mixture of both.
- Vegetable oil: to taste
- Butter: to taste

4
Spoon the dough onto a hot skillet and fry for about one and a half minutes; bubbles should appear on the surface of the dough, and the bottom should turn golden.

5
Flip the pancakes and fry them for about another minute until they are the same golden color. Do the same with all the batter. Serve the pancakes with sour cream and your favorite jam.
- Sour cream: to taste
- Jam: to taste
