Chocolate crisps are a refined Italian dessert infused with the aroma of cocoa and butter. Their history roots back to Italy's home baking traditions, where simple ingredients transform into culinary magic. Crispy on the outside and slightly melting on the inside, they boast a rich chocolate flavor with subtle caramel notes. These crisps perfectly complement morning coffee or are served with ice cream as an elegant finish to a meal. Their elastic texture makes the preparation process engaging, allowing for experimentation with shape and presentation. Due to the simplicity of the recipe and rich flavor, they become a favorite for sweet lovers worldwide.

1
In a mixer, mix flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and salt on low speed.
- Wheat flour: 400 g
- Cocoa powder: 200 g
- Sugar: 300 g
- Salt: 1 teaspoon
2
Gradually add butter in small amounts and knead the dough in a mixer. It should look shiny and elastic, not dry.
- Butter: 300 g
3
Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for one to one and a half hours. Then take it out and roll it between two sheets of parchment paper to a thickness of about one centimeter.
4
Remove the top paper sheet and cut the dough into pieces in the shape intended for serving, even in the shape of a black heart. Cover with paper again and place in the refrigerator for fifteen minutes.
5
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and place the baking tray with the crackers in it, removing the top paper again. Bake for twelve minutes. Serve chilled.
