Apple square pastries with crumb are a refined dessert of European cuisine, combining a delicate base, aromatic fruit filling, and crunchy nut crumble. This recipe resembles traditional apple pies but in a more convenient portioned square format. Sweet apples soaked in cinnamon and raisins acquire a rich caramel flavor, while subtle hints of lemon add a refreshing tartness. The nut crumble makes the texture rich and contrasting. The pastries are perfect for cozy tea parties or festive gatherings while remaining simple to prepare. They can be served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or chilled to enjoy the harmony of flavors.
