Plum compote with cinnamon is a refined drink that combines the sweetness of ripe plums, the spicy warm note of cinnamon, and a light vanilla charm. This compote is a true delight for connoisseurs of traditional Russian cuisine. Historically, such drinks were prepared at family gatherings in autumn when the plum harvest peaked. Due to prolonged simmering over low heat, the fruits reveal their rich flavor while cinnamon adds a cozy aroma. The compote is perfect as a standalone refreshing drink or as a base for desserts, ice cream, or cocktails. Chilled, it invigorates and refreshes; warm, it becomes an ideal complement to winter evenings. This recipe is a harmony of taste, tradition, and home comfort.
