Preheat the oven to 160 degrees. Line a large baking sheet with parchment. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Beat softened butter with sugar with a mixer until creamy, then add 0.5 cup of chopped hazelnuts and vanilla. Combine with the flour.

Use a large spoon to make long pastries from the dough and place them on a baking sheet. Bake until golden brown for about 20 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes on the sheet, transfer to a plate, and let cool completely.

Melt the chocolate in a water bath. In a clean bowl, add 0.3 cups of crushed hazelnuts. Dip one end of the pastry in softened chocolate, then in the nuts. Transfer to a plate and repeat with the remaining ones. Leave for 1 hour until the chocolate sets.
