Take the butter out of the fridge and let it soften at room temperature.
- Butter: 100 g

Add powdered sugar to the bowl with butter and mix thoroughly until smooth.
- Powdered sugar: 40 g

Add 1 room temperature egg white and vanilla sugar to the butter mixture, and mix gently. Gradually add 160 g of sifted flour and knead a soft dough.
- Egg white: 1 piece
- Vanilla sugar: 1 piece
- Wheat flour: 160 g

Do not mix for long. Transfer the dough to a piping bag with a star tip and pipe small ribbed cookies onto a greased baking sheet (or lined with parchment paper).
- Butter: 100 g

Place the cookies at a distance from each other.

Make indentations in the center of each cookie and fill them with some thick jam or jelly mixed with starch.
- Jam: 1 tablespoon
- Starch: 0.5 teaspoon

Place the baking tray in a preheated oven at 220 degrees and bake for 12 minutes until pale golden.

Remove the cookies from the oven and transfer them to a cooling rack.
