Marble brownie with cream cheese is an exquisite dessert that combines the rich taste of chocolate with the delicate creamy texture of cream cheese. Its origins trace back to American cuisine, where brownies became a cult treat since the early 20th century. The addition of cream cheese adds a new level of softness and airiness to the classic recipe. During baking, it retains its density, creating a beautiful marbled pattern that makes each piece unique. The brownie is moderately sweet, with a slight bitterness from dark chocolate and a creamy note from the cheese. It is perfect as a standalone dessert alongside a cup of hot coffee or fragrant tea. The magnificent combination of textures and flavors makes it a desirable treat for cozy home gatherings and festive evenings.

1
Prepare all the ingredients. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees.

2
Melt the butter in a saucepan and heat until it starts to bubble.
- Butter: 100 g

3
Remove the oil from the heat, add chocolate, stir, then cover and let sit for 5 minutes. During this time, the chocolate will melt, stir again until smooth.
- Dark chocolate: 320 g

4
Whisk the chocolate mixture with 3 eggs, brown sugar, and vanilla paste.
- Chicken egg: 4 pieces
- Brown sugar: 100 g
- Vanilla paste: 2 teaspoons

5
Add salt, cocoa, and flour, and mix until smooth.
- Salt: 0.5 teaspoon
- Cocoa powder: 60 g
- Wheat flour: 55 g

6
Transfer the dough to a greased baking pan and smooth it out.
- Vegetable oil: 5 ml

7
Whip Hochland cream cheese with white sugar and an egg. Due to its high heat resistance, its dense texture and shape will remain intact even after baking.
- Hochland curd cheese for cooking: 180 g
- Sugar: 30 g
- Chicken egg: 4 pieces

8
Spoon the cheese mixture onto the dough in small islands.

9
Dip a skewer or the tip of a knife into the batter and move it in circular motions across the surface to create a marbled pattern. Bake the brownies in the oven for 40-45 minutes. To prevent the white pattern from browning, you can loosely cover the pan with foil.

10
Check the brownies for doneness by inserting a toothpick into the batter: it should come out with moist crumbs. Let the finished brownies cool completely on a rack before serving.

11
Serve marble brownies with tea or other favorite drinks.
