Ice cream from jam

This is a home attempt to make ice cream. Imagine you have jam and no ice cream maker, but you want ice cream. I would do the same. The almond milk mentioned in the recipe is a fairly common product in a noble estate , which allowed you to make ice cream, for example, on fasting days. Almond milk back then was no different from today's, except that people made it themselves

1
Boil water with sugar.
- Water: 600 ml
- Sugar: 100 g

2
Add syrup to the mashed jam.
- Jam: 450 g

3
Also squeeze the juice of half a lemon into it.
- Lemon: 0.5 piece

4
Add almond milk.
- Almond milk: 1 teaspoon

5
Mix well until smooth. Pour into the mold.

6
Let the mass cool completely. Place in the freezer for 4 hours or until set.

7
Stir every hour for more even freezing of the ice cream.

8
When the ice cream is almost frozen, stir it one last time and put it back in the freezer for another hour.

9
Ready ice cream can be scooped using an ice cream scoop.

10
Serve decorated with fresh berries.
- Fresh berries: to taste
