Aunt Petunia's Chocolate Cake

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Line the bottom of a 25 cm diameter springform pan with parchment paper and grease the sides well with butter.
- Butter: 200 g

In a bowl, mix the sifted wheat flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder.
- Wheat flour: 200 g
- Cocoa powder: 2 tablespoons
- Baking powder: 10 g

In a separate bowl, beat the softened butter with sugar and salt until smooth.
- Butter: 200 g
- Sugar: 175 g
- Salt: pinch

Break the eggs one by one, beating each time until fluffy.
- Chicken egg: 4 pieces

Add dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
- Wheat flour: 200 g
- Cocoa powder: 2 tablespoons
- Baking powder: 10 g

Then add cherries and chocolate shavings, mix well.
- Canned cherries: 600 g
- Chocolate chips: 100 g

Pour the batter into the mold and smooth it out.

Bake for about 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Remove the pie from the oven and cool in the pan.

Carefully remove the pie from the mold, sprinkle with powdered sugar, decorate with fresh currants, and serve.
