Cherry cookies with nuts and liqueur are a refined treat with the aromatic flavor of cherries and creamy-nutty notes. Cherry flour, rich in natural sweetness, gives the cookies softness and a slight tartness, while Baileys liqueur adds a velvety taste. Historically, cherries were widely used in the cuisine of Slavic peoples, especially for baking. These cookies pair perfectly with a cup of coffee or hot chocolate, providing comfort and enjoyment. Their light crispy crust and tender center make them an excellent choice for both morning treats and evening desserts. They are great for festive gatherings or cozy tea times, leaving a unique aftertaste thanks to the combination of nuts and liqueur.
