Oat galette with cheese is an exquisite combination of simple ingredients that offers refined pleasure. The roots of this dish can be found in European cuisine, where crispy texture and delicate cheese flavor are valued. The galette is airy with a light crispy crust hiding melted cheese that creates a cozy, creamy note. Oats add richness and softness to the dish, while corn flour adds a hint of sweetness. It’s an ideal choice for breakfast or a light snack, harmoniously combining nutrition and gastronomic sophistication. Best served hot to enjoy the stretchy texture of the cheese and the tenderness of the dough. A magnificent option for those seeking a healthy and tasty alternative to traditional baked goods.

1
Grind the oats in a blender or coffee grinder into fine crumbs, almost flour. Pour in warm water and let it sit for a few minutes.
- Oat flakes: 1 glass
- Water: 1 glass
2
Crack the egg and mix with salt, whisk with a whisk/fork.
- Chicken egg: 1 piece
- Salt: pinch
3
Mix the egg with the dough base, add flour, and blend thoroughly.
- Corn flour: 0.5 glass
4
Form a ball from the dough. Add olive oil. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes.
- Olive oil: 1 tablespoon
5
Roll out the dough thinly, form an envelope for the cheese. Add chopped cheese and grated processed cheese.
- Cheese: 50 g
- Processed cheese: 1 piece
6
Send to an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Take out, check the dough's readiness—it should be crispy in appearance but not hard—and send it back for another 5 minutes for the cheese to melt completely.
