Plum pie is a cozy treat that comes from European cuisine. Its roots trace back to traditional village recipes where seasonal fruits played a key role in baking. The sweet, airy dough infused with the aroma of butter pairs wonderfully with the tart-sweet plums that caramelize during baking, creating a rich and deep flavor. A light hint of cinnamon adds warm spice to the bake, while cane sugar contributes a slight caramel crunch. This pie is an ideal choice for cozy family tea times and a great way to enjoy seasonal fruits.
