Fragrant pies with apples and cinnamon are a classic treat of Russian cuisine, filled with warmth and coziness. The origins of the dish go back to the distant past when home baking was an integral part of family traditions. These pies feature a crispy dough with cheese harmoniously combined with a tender sweet-sour apple filling infused with the aroma of cinnamon and caramel sugar. They are baked to a golden crust, and the subtle fragrance fills the home with an atmosphere of comfort. Such pies are served warm with a cup of fragrant tea or coffee. They are perfect for family gatherings, festive tea parties, or simply as a heartfelt treat.
