Vitamin Soup is a traditional Russian dish filled with fresh flavors and healthy ingredients. Its main component is sorrel, rich in vitamins and giving the soup a refreshing, slightly sour taste. Combined with the tenderness of potatoes, the aroma of dill, and the mild spiciness of red pepper, this soup is perfect for summer refreshment and boosting immunity in cold weather. Historically, sorrel soups were popular in Russian cuisine due to their simplicity and accessibility. Served chilled, it is especially pleasant in warm weather. Rice can be added for a heartier meal if desired. A great choice for those who appreciate light yet nutritious dishes with vibrant natural flavors.
