Clean and wash the bean pods, set aside a quarter for garnish and cut into diamonds; pass the rest through a meat grinder.

Cut the cleaned and washed potatoes into slices, place them in a pot, add chopped bean pods, salt, 1-2 tablespoons of oil, pour in 4-5 cups of hot water, cover with a lid, and cook. When the potatoes are ready, strain the mixture through a fine sieve.

Dilute the obtained puree with hot milk and season with butter. When serving, add cooked bean pods to the soup for garnish. Serve croutons separately.
