The American burger with chicken and bacon is a true embodiment of gastronomic pleasure, combining the aroma of smoky bacon, the tenderness of the chicken patty, and the richness of barbecue sauce. Its origin story traces back to American fast food traditions, where juicy burgers became symbols of convenience and taste. The patty, made with cheese and crispy bacon, reveals a multifaceted texture—from a crunchy crust to melting cheese inside. The buns infused with grill aromas serve as the perfect complement to the meat filling. This burger is great for a cozy dinner at home or a friendly gathering where one wants to enjoy a rich, balanced flavor. Every detail—from caramelized onions to fresh greens—plays its role in creating an impeccable culinary masterpiece.

First, prepare the barbecue sauce. It cooks very quickly, but the taste is amazing. By the way, I later used it in pizza, and it works great there too. So, finely chop the onion and garlic.
- Onion: 2 pieces
- Garlic: 3 cloves
2
Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil for 1-2 minutes. Then add brown sugar — it will help caramelize the onion, giving it a sweet taste and slightly crunchier texture. After another minute, add paprika and tomato paste. If the sauce is too thick, add a little boiling water.
- Brown sugar: 1 tablespoon
- Paprika: 3 tablespoons
- Tomato paste: 3 tablespoons

Now let's move on to the patty — an essential part of the hamburger. I admit, I used to replace it with sausage and ham, but none of that is quite right. A real good hamburger is only with a juicy fresh patty. It's simple here. Finely chop the bacon and onion, fry them well (until the bacon is crispy — that's important). Add paprika and mix.
- Bacon: 50 g
- Onion: 2 pieces
- Paprika: 3 tablespoons
4
Transfer the minced meat to a bowl, season with salt and pepper; it will be impossible to do this later. Make a depression and transfer the fried mixture into it.
- Minced chicken: 200 g
5
Add some grated cheese (mozzarella is fine, but Gruyère or cheddar can also be used). Mix everything well and form patties. The height is about 2.5 cm, diameter slightly larger than a bun.
- Cheese: 100 g
6
Toast the slices of buns in a dry pan.
- Bun: 2 pieces
7
After that, pour in some olive oil and fry the patties for about 3 minutes on each side.
- Minced chicken: 200 g
- Cheese: 100 g
8
When flipping the patty for the first time, place layers of cheese (0.5 cm thick) on top, let it start to melt slightly from the heat of the patty.
- Cheese: 100 g
9
While the cutlets are cooking, slice the tomato and chop the lettuce. You can use any herbs and vegetables here.
- Green salad: to taste
- Onion: 2 pieces
