Greek kebab 'Gyros' is a symbol of Greece's street food, where the aromas of spices and fresh ingredients transport you to the Mediterranean coast. Its history traces back to ancient Greek traditions of cooking meat over an open flame. Tender chicken fillet is marinated in spices, lemon juice, and soy sauce, absorbing spicy notes. The golden crust, juiciness, and slight tang make the meat perfect for pairing with refreshing 'Tzatziki' sauce made from yogurt, cucumber, and aromatic herbs. Served in warm pita with pickled onions, juicy tomatoes, and greens, it creates a harmony of flavors and textures. Gyros is not just food; it's a gastronomic journey that allows you to experience Greek culture in every bite.
