Homemade Hot Dog

Homemade hot dog is a cozy interpretation of American classic, featuring rich flavors and crispy textures. The sesame-covered bun adds a unique nutty aroma, while the spicy mustard and garlic ketchup create a perfect balance of heat and sweetness. Tender fried sausages with a golden crust are the soul of this dish, and Korean carrots add freshness and a hint of spice. Mayonnaise softens the flavor palette, while herbs like dill, parsley, and watercress provide a touch of freshness and harmony. This hot dog is ideal for a warm family dinner or picnic; it can be served as a standalone dish or alongside potato chips and lemonade. Its taste is rich and layered, with the combination of ingredients making each bite unique.

For the hot dogs, I bought three elongated buns covered with sesame seeds. The sesame will add a special flavor to our dish. We carefully cut the bun on the side or in the middle (at your discretion). Inside, we evenly spread mustard on the bun. We add homemade ketchup with garlic and also thoroughly coat the entire inner surface of the bun.

We clean the sausages from the film, cut them in half, and fry them in a pan with oil on both sides until golden brown. Remove from heat and let the oil drain. Then place one sausage on each bun and sprinkle with chopped herbs on top.
