Gondolier Sandwich
1 serving
15 minutes
This sandwich is made from ingredients that can be found everywhere. Alternatively, the main ingredients can be tomatoes and soft cheese.

1
Cut the top part of a small bun (weighing 250–300 grams; a small baguette will do) not too thinly, so that the cut part can later cover the sandwich. Remove the crumb from the bottom part. Dry both parts in the oven or by any other acceptable method.
- Wheat bun: 1 piece
2
Grease the bottom part with tomato sauce: homemade or ketchup - any, to taste. Crush garlic into it.

Fill the bottom part with a mixture of diced peeled cucumbers and tomatoes, coarsely chopped onion, thin strips of ham, grated cheese, green peas, and parsley (as well as any other herbs to taste). Season with salt and pepper. Drizzle with creamy sauce on top. Close with the top part of the bun.
