Mozzarella sandwiches are a simple yet exquisite Italian dish infused with the spirit of the Mediterranean. Inspired by traditional bruschetta, they combine the creamy tenderness of mozzarella with the juiciness of fresh tomatoes, the spiciness of garlic, and a hint of green onion's sharpness. Baked to a golden crust, they become even more aromatic. Basil adds fresh herbal notes, making the flavor rich and balanced. These sandwiches are perfect for a cozy breakfast, a quick snack, or a light dinner, especially paired with a glass of white wine.
