Club Sandwich

The sandwich owes its name to its origin: it (or something similar) was first prepared in one of New York's private clubs at the end of the 19th century. The second version is not far from the first: turkey and lettuce were invented to be placed between toasted slices of bread at the same time and in the same city, but in another club - for gamblers. Place a large dry skillet over high heat and heat it up. Put slices of multigrain bread in the skillet. Fry for 1.5 minutes on each side. Remove the bread from the heat and transfer it to a board.
- Toast bread: 3 pieces

Place the bread pan on high heat. Add bacon to the pan. Fry for 1 minute on each side. Remove from heat.
- Bacon: 30 g

Slice the cherry in rounds or halves, tear the salad by hand.
- Cherry tomatoes: 40 g
- Romaine lettuce: 20 g

Spread homemade mayonnaise on 2 slices of bread, saving 1 teaspoon of sauce for later.
- Homemade mayonnaise: 30 g

On one slice of bread with sauce, place lettuce leaves, tomatoes, and half of the chicken pastrami.

- Cherry tomatoes: 40 g

On top - one slice of cheddar and cover with a second slice of bread.
- Cheddar cheese: 24 g

Spread the remaining mayonnaise on top of the bread. Layer it with the remaining pastrami, bacon, cheese, and lettuce.

Cover with a third slice of bread and press lightly. Cut diagonally in half and place on a plate.
