This shrimp salad is the perfect embodiment of the lightness and sophistication of Spanish cuisine. Its simplicity in preparation makes it an excellent choice for a quick dinner or festive table. Tender shrimp, lightly infused with the aroma of Provençal herbs, harmoniously combine with juicy tomatoes and crispy lettuce leaves, creating a refreshing and rich flavor. Grated cheese adds creaminess, while mayonnaise gives a slight tanginess. The history of this salad is rooted in Mediterranean traditions where fresh seafood is the foundation of gastronomic delight. Serving it on green lettuce leaves makes it not only tasty but also aesthetically pleasing. It is perfect as a standalone dish or as an appetizer to the main feast.

For the salad, it's better to take small peeled shrimp. Thaw the shrimp and boil for 5-10 minutes in salted water, then let cool. Cut the lettuce into 2x2 cm cubes or tear by hand, dice the tomatoes, and grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
