Caesar salad is one of the most popular and refined appetizers of European cuisine, created in 1924 at a Mexican restaurant by Italian chef Caesar Cardini. This salad captivates with its harmonious combination of fresh crispy lettuce leaves, juicy chicken breast with a golden crust, and fragrant golden croutons. Dressed with the signature 'Caesar' dressing and topped with delicate shavings of Parmesan, it has a rich, multifaceted flavor with subtle garlic notes and a creamy texture. It can be enjoyed as a standalone dish or served as an exquisite appetizer at celebrations and romantic dinners. Legend has it that it was created from available ingredients during a food shortage but has since become a symbol of gastronomic elegance.
