Squid is one of the most affordable and popular seafood in our country. It is also the main hit of Soviet fish Thursdays: just look at the recipe for this salad! It is also called "Khrushchev's" in honor of Nikita Khrushchev, from whose dacha the salad began to be prepared in all canteens of the Union. It is best to slowly defrost the carcass in the refrigerator - if you do it quickly, it will lose its structure. The optimal cooking time for squid is about five minutes, depending on the size. It is important not to overcook it , otherwise it will lose moisture and become rubbery.

Boil the eggs in boiling water for 11 minutes.

Cool the cooked eggs, peel them, and cut into cubes.

Boil water, add cleaned squid to it. Once boiling resumes, remove the squid and transfer them to cold water.
