Fish baked with sour cream

4 servings

20 minutes

Fish baked with sour cream is a dish that embodies the cozy atmosphere of Russian cuisine. The tender fish fillet infused with the freshness of lemon juice acquires an surprisingly soft taste, while baking gives it an airy texture. The creamy sauce made from sour cream and mayonnaise, enriched with hints of green onions and spices, creates a rich yet balanced flavor palette. The final touch is melted cheese, which adds a light spiciness and appetizing crust. This dish is perfect for a family dinner when served with mashed potatoes or fresh vegetables. It combines simplicity in preparation with depth of flavors, reminiscent of the traditions of Russian cuisine where warmth and naturalness of ingredients are valued.
