Grilled chicken

This recipe is suitable for both a festive table and a regular lunch or dinner. For a holiday, you can put pineapples or pears inside the chicken, although even without them it will take a worthy place on the festive table.

Wash the medium-sized chicken outside and inside, remove the entrails (if any), dry it with a towel (it's difficult to do this inside, so it's not necessary to do it inside)
- Chicken: 1 piece

Mix spices, garlic (pressed through a garlic press), salt, and oil in a separate container.
- Garlic: 2 heads
- Salt: 1 teaspoon
- Olive oil: 2 tablespoons
- Paprika: 1 tablespoon
- Basil: 1 tablespoon

Coat the chicken with the mixture first inside, then on the back, then place it on its back in a greased baking dish and coat all remaining parts of the carcass.
- Olive oil: 2 tablespoons

Tie the chicken legs with white cotton thread (to prevent them from spreading apart while baking)

Bake in the oven on the upper grill convection mode at 180C for about 1 hour (depends on the size of the chicken, 1 hour is for medium-sized chicken), check readiness with a toothpick (if it comes out easily and juice flows out — the chicken is ready)
