Chicken wings in orange glaze

Chicken wings in orange glaze are a true gastronomic symphony of flavors. This recipe combines the crispy texture of baked wings with a rich citrus aroma, complemented by sweet and spicy notes. The dish's origins trace back to European cuisine, where harmonious flavor contrasts come together. The orange sauce seeps into the tender fibers of the meat, giving it tenderness and depth of flavor, while spices add expressive character. Grilled or oven-browned wings are coated with caramelized glaze, creating a perfect balance of sweetness and spiciness. This dish will be a highlight of any gathering—from a cozy family dinner to a festive evening with friends. Serve with fresh vegetables, herbs, or a light side dish to enhance the citrus notes.

Cut the wings at the joints (remove the tips).

- Lime: 1 piece
- Soy sauce: 50 ml
- Wine vinegar: 30 ml
- Honey: 1 tablespoon
- Garlic: 3 cloves

Preheat the grill to high temperature; if unavailable, heat the oven to 200°C. Remove the wings from the marinade and fry until golden brown for 10-15 minutes, turning as needed. Transfer the remaining marinade to a pot, add cornstarch and cook until slightly thickened, about 8 minutes. Drizzle the finished wings with sauce.
- Potato starch: 1.5 teaspoon
