To make fluffy steamed Poltava dumplings, mix baking soda and citric acid into the flour, gradually add water, and knead a soft dough.
- Wheat flour: 2 glasss
- Soda: 1 teaspoon
- Citric acid: 0.3 teaspoon
- Water: 1 glass

Divide the dough into several parts, shape each into 'sausages', and cut diagonally into a couple of centimeters (I rolled balls).

Place the dumplings at a small distance apart.

Boil for 4-5 minutes. Grease each batch in a bowl with vegetable or butter to prevent sticking.

- Water: 1 glass
- Soda: 1 teaspoon
- Citric acid: 0.3 teaspoon

Prepare a sauce from meat and vegetables. In a heated pan, sauté the onion and gradually add the carrot. Stew the minced meat. Pour in some water and simmer on low heat, adding crushed garlic, salt, and spices to taste.

- Minced meat: 500 g
- Garlic: 4 cloves
