Brown the veal in a pan with oil.
- Veal: 400 g
- Vegetable oil: to taste

Transfer to a pot, add smoked meat, you can use not only ribs but also other smoked meat, such as smoked loin.

Peel the onion and cut it into large half-rings, cut the cabbage into wedges and add it to the pot.

Add water and simmer for 25-30 minutes.

Clean the carrots, swede, and potatoes, cut them into large pieces, put them in a pot and simmer for another 20-30 minutes.
- Carrot: 3 pieces
- Swede: 1 piece
- Potato: 6 pieces

Season with salt and pepper and let it sit for another 10 minutes until the vegetables are soft.
