Rinse the rice and drain it in a colander to dry.
- Rice: 200 g

In a tall pot, bring the milk to a boil. Adjust the heat so it rises and bubbles continuously without overflowing. Keep it like this for a few minutes.
- Milk: 500 ml

Add rice and bay leaves to boiling milk. Stir continuously and cook over medium heat for 15-20 minutes depending on the rice variety.
- Rice: 200 g
