Juicy salmon steak with broccoli is a true embodiment of Mediterranean cuisine, where the simplicity of ingredients combines with refined flavor. Salmon, rich in omega-3 and tender texture, acquires an appetizing golden crust when fried and becomes even juicier during baking. Lemon juice enhances its freshness and adds a light tanginess, while spices reveal deep flavor nuances. Tender broccoli florets harmoniously complement the dish, adding freshness and health benefits. This recipe is perfect for a cozy family dinner or a light yet exquisite lunch. Serving the steak with a slice of lemon can enhance its aroma, making each bite even more flavorful. The simplicity of preparation and elegance of presentation make it a favorite choice for those who appreciate healthy and delicious food.

To make the salmon crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, we will first sear it in a pan and then finish cooking it in the oven. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees and place the pan over medium-high heat. Season your steak with salt and pepper on both sides and drizzle with lemon. Pour a little olive oil into the heated pan. Now place your steak in the pan. Sear one side — that will be on top.

Once the steak is browned, transfer it to a baking sheet on foil. Place a slice of lemon on the steak and wrap it in foil. The salmon will bake for about 7-9 minutes.

Place the cooked steak on a plate with the browned side up. A good side dish would be boiled broccoli (fresh broccoli should be boiled for 5-7 minutes in a small amount of salted water. Frozen broccoli should be boiled for 12-15 minutes after boiling). Don't forget to serve a slice of lemon with the fish to spray on the steak.
- Broccoli cabbage: 300 g
- Lemon: 1 piece
