Mashed potatoes with zucchini

Mashed potatoes with zucchini is a delicate, light, and nutritious dish from Russian cuisine. Potatoes give the puree a traditional creamy texture, while zucchini adds freshness and lightness to the flavor. This combination makes the dish not only tasty but also healthy. It is perfect for children's meals, light dinners, or as a side dish for meat and fish dishes. An important feature of this recipe is its simplicity — the vegetables are simply boiled and mashed with added vegetable oil. Thanks to the zucchini, the puree becomes airy and soft, while the potatoes provide heartiness. This dish pairs especially well with herbs and spices that can be added to taste for extra aromatic notes.
