Baked salmon steak under a cheese crust is a true delight for gourmet lovers. This dish originates from Russian culinary tradition, where baking fish with spicy sauces became a popular way to preserve its juiciness and enhance its natural flavor. Salmon marinated in a fragrant mixture of lemon juice and mayonnaise acquires a tender texture, while the baked cheese forms an appetizing golden crust. The light acidity of lemon harmoniously complements the rich taste of the fish, making each serving particularly refined. This steak is perfect for a festive dinner or romantic evening, pairing well with white wine and fresh vegetables. It is easy to prepare, and its impressive presentation delights both gourmets and those who appreciate comforting home cooking.
