Turkey Meatballs with Garlic
2 servings

Turkey and garlic meatballs are a dish that combines the tenderness of diet meat with rich spice aromas. Turkey, traditionally used in European cuisine, makes the meatballs light and healthy, while garlic adds a spiciness. Lemon sauce adds freshness and a subtle tang, making this dish particularly interesting. These meatballs can be served as a standalone dish or complemented with a side of vegetables and grains. They are suitable for family dinners and special occasions when you want to impress guests with something elegant yet simple to prepare. Thanks to the variety of spices, they can easily be adapted to different taste preferences, whether it's classic European style or spicy notes of Eastern cuisine.

1
Take turkey fillet, wash it, dry it, and cut it into small pieces.
- Turkey fillet: 500 g
2
Peel the onion and cut it into several pieces; crush the garlic into a mixing bowl for the minced meat.
- Onion: 1 piece
- Garlic: 2 cloves
3
Chop the turkey and onion in portions in a blender or meat grinder. Transfer to the garlic, add salt and pepper. Crack one egg into the minced meat and mix. If planning for Asian or Indian-style meatballs, you can add appropriate spices.
- Turkey fillet: 500 g
- Onion: 1 piece
- Chicken egg: 1 piece
- Sugar substitute: to taste
4
Heat a non-stick pan without oil. I use a pancake pan for this purpose - it works great! At this stage, you can either finish cooking by simply frying the meatballs or continue further.
5
Form balls with a fork, hands, or however you like, and lightly fry them until a nice brown crust forms. Prepare a sauce or use a ready-made one (in these cases, I use Blue Dragon lemon sauce).
6
To make lemon sauce, mix lemon juice, liquid sugar substitute, salt, sesame oil (a drop for aroma), broth, and 0.5 teaspoon of cornstarch with pepper. Simmer in a saucepan for a few minutes until thickened.
- Lemon: 1 piece
- Sugar substitute: to taste
- Sesame oil: 1 teaspoon
- Cornstarch: 1 teaspoon
7
Transfer the fried meatballs to a saucepan, mix with the sauce, and cook until done.
- Turkey fillet: 500 g
