Kurnik is a traditional Russian pie symbolizing home comfort and hospitality. It dates back to ancient times when it was prepared for holidays and important events. The combination of flaky dough, tender pancakes, juicy chicken meat, and aromatic mushrooms makes it incredibly tasty and filling. Each layer is soaked in sour cream sauce, giving the pie softness and richness. When baked, the dough becomes golden and crispy while the filling retains its juiciness. Kurnik is perfect for family gatherings and celebrations.

Roll out the dough and place it in a greased round form so that the edges stick out. Place the first pancake and add a filling of chicken, cover with a pancake, then add a filling of mushrooms + pancake + filling of chicken + pancake + filling of mushrooms + pancake + filling of chicken + pancake, and cover with dough on top. Seal the edges.
