Turkey steaks with orange juice

Turkey steaks with orange juice are a harmony of tender white meat and citrus freshness. Inspired by American cuisine, this recipe combines the softness of turkey fillet with bright notes of orange, creating a light yet rich flavor. The marinade made from freshly squeezed juice fills the meat with juiciness, while nutmeg and oregano add spicy undertones. A crispy golden crust from breadcrumbs gives the dish an appetizing texture. This steak is perfect as a standalone dish or paired with vegetables and light sides. A wonderful choice for a festive dinner or cozy family meal, it embodies a balance of sophistication and simplicity. It's easy to prepare, and the result is always impressive.

1
We cut the turkey fillet into pieces 1–1.5 cm thick in the form of steaks.
2
We lightly pound (I used the flat, side of a kitchen mallet).
3
We rub with salt and paprika.

Place in a container. Pour with orange juice (you can squeeze by hand). If the fruits are small, take two. Add nutmeg and oregano to taste. Mix and press the meat on top.

5
Let it marinate in the fridge for 40 minutes.

After that, we take the meat. In a bowl, we beat two eggs. On a plate, we spread breadcrumbs. Then we dip the meat first in the egg, then coat it in breadcrumbs and place it on a preheated skillet or grill, previously greased with olive oil (sunflower oil can also be used, depending on your taste). We fry on both sides until a light golden crust forms.
