Lasagna with cheese sauce is a vibrant embodiment of Italian culinary generosity. This dish combines tender layers of pasta soaked in rich cheese sauce, spicy minced meat, and the aroma of fresh vegetables. Originally, lasagna was a traditional dish for poor Italian families who used available ingredients to create a hearty meal. In this recipe, the cheese sauce plays a key role, providing a rich creamy flavor with a slight tang from the tomato paste. Baking under foil makes the texture soft, while the combination of herbs and spices harmoniously complements the dish. It is an ideal choice for a cozy family dinner, and its rich taste makes lasagna one of the most beloved casseroles in the world.
