Fried cod with lentils

Melt two tablespoons of butter in a heavy pot over low heat, sauté finely chopped onion and garlic seasoned with 3/4 teaspoon of salt until pale golden, which will take about ten minutes (cook covered).

Then remove the lid and cook for another five to ten minutes, after which add the lentils and a bit of the liquid they were cooked in to the vegetables; heat everything well.
- Green French Lentils: 200 g

Pat the cod fillet dry, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Heat a tablespoon of olive oil and a tablespoon of butter in a large non-stick skillet, and fry the fish in the buttery foam for six to eight minutes, remembering to flip it once. The cod should brown slightly and be fully cooked.
- Cod fillet: 650 g
