Chicken wings are a true symbol of friendly gatherings and cozy get-togethers. Their history traces back to American gastronomy, where they became popular due to the combination of crispy texture and rich flavor. This European version of the dish presents the wings in a new light: tender meat is infused with a sweet-spicy marinade of honey, lemon juice, and ginger, acquiring a rich aroma with a hint of caramel. The combination of garlic and soy sauce adds zest, while the sour cream sauce with dill and mayonnaise softens the intensity of the spices, creating a harmony of taste. These wings are perfect for picnics or cozy family dinners, providing delight in every bite. They are served hot with grill smoke, making the meal especially appetizing and unforgettable.

1
Wash the chicken wings and cut them into two parts (wing and thigh).
2
Place the wings in a dish and pour soy sauce over them (choose a light soy sauce, not too salty; if you have salty soy sauce, add 150 grams of sauce and the same amount of water).
- Soy sauce: 300 ml
3
Melt the honey - it should be liquid (you can use a microwave).
- Honey: 4 tablespoons
4
Pour honey into the wings, add the juice of 1.5 medium lemons, finely chopped 10 cloves of garlic, and ginger (either ground - 5 grams, or fresh grated ginger root).
- Honey: 4 tablespoons
- Lemon juice: 2 ml
- Garlic: 14 cloves
- Ginger: 5 g
- Ground black pepper: to taste
5
Mix the wings well in the marinade, press them down with a weight, and place in the refrigerator for at least 5 hours.
6
Prepare a sour cream sauce for the wings separately. Blend sour cream, mayonnaise, finely chopped dill, and 4 cloves of garlic, then refrigerate for 10 minutes.
- Sour cream 15%: 250 g
- Mayonnaise: 2 tablespoons
- Dill: 30 g
- Garlic: 14 cloves
7
Grill the wings on the barbecue until golden brown. Sour cream sauce is served with the wings.
