Azu with vegetables is a traditional dish of Tatar cuisine that combines the rich flavor of beef, the aroma of fried onions, and the sweet notes of bell peppers. Its roots go back to ancient times when Tatars used simple yet hearty ingredients for cooking. The addition of lemon juice gives a tangy zest, while tomatoes and beans enrich the dish with juiciness. Pickled cucumbers and olives add a special touch, giving azu its characteristic salty-spicy taste. This dish is perfect for cozy family dinners, warming with its aroma and depth of flavor. Slow cooking allows the meat to become tender and rich, while adding garlic and herbs completes the flavor palette, creating a harmonious blend of freshness and spiciness.
