Squid with teriyaki sauce is an exquisite Japanese dish that combines the delicate texture of seafood with the rich, sweet-salty flavor of the famous sauce. In Japan, teriyaki has long been a symbol of the perfect balance between sweetness and umami, and squid in this preparation acquires a special juiciness. Fried together with garlic, spicy chili pepper, fresh asparagus, mushrooms, and broccoli, they absorb the rich aroma of spices and vegetables. Teriyaki squid pairs perfectly with rice or noodles, and their spicy flavor makes the dish versatile – suitable for both a festive dinner and a cozy evening at home.
