Lazy cabbage rolls with minced meat and vegetables are a cozy dish of Ukrainian cuisine that simplifies the traditional cabbage rolls preparation process. Instead of wrapping the filling in cabbage leaves, the ingredients are layered and baked. The result is a fragrant combination of tender minced meat, eggplants, pickles, and sweet peppers infused with vegetable and spice juices. The dish has a harmonious taste: the sweet-sour notes of cucumber and tomatoes complement the richness of the meat, while cabbage adds softness to the texture.
