Prepare all the ingredients.

Break the wheat noodles into pieces 3-4 cm long.
- Wheat noodles: 150 g

Clean the shrimp.

Chop the garlic. Dice the onion.

Chop the tomatoes finely.

Take a frying pan with a diameter of about 30 cm and high sides. Heat half of the olive oil in it. Fry the noodles on high heat for 3 minutes, stirring with a spatula.
- Olive oil: 2 tablespoons
- Wheat noodles: 150 g

Transfer the noodles to a bowl and set aside.

Pour the remaining olive oil into the pan and heat it. Add garlic and shrimp, sauté for 1 minute. Transfer to a clean dish.
- Olive oil: 2 tablespoons
- Garlic: 2 cloves
- Shrimps: 300 g

Add onion to the pan and fry until golden brown.
- Onion: 1 head

Add saffron, paprika, and tomatoes, sauté on high heat, stirring with a spatula for 2 minutes.
- Saffron: pinch
- Smoked paprika: 0.5 teaspoon
- Tomatoes: 1 piece

Add 400 ml of water and bring everything to a boil. Then reduce the heat to medium, cover with a lid, and simmer for 12 minutes.
- Water: 400 ml

Add the fried noodles, mix, and top with shrimp. Simmer for another 3–6 minutes or so with the lid on—the process will be complete when all the liquid evaporates. Season with salt to taste.
