Boiled Crab
6 servings
10 minutes
This is the simplest way to cook blue crabs - in water, without seasonings. Someone may not have enough fire of spices, but this method allows you to feel the true delicate taste of crab meat. If you appreciate the tenderness of crab meat - serve it cooled (room temperature), a few hours after cooking. Or keep it in the refrigerator overnight and serve the next day, if you like the added taste of thickened crab juice.

1
Put a large pot of salted water on the fire. As quickly as you can, drop all the crabs into the water. It's easiest to cook crabs in a net, or you can use tongs.
- Crabs: 24 pieces
- Water: to taste
2
Close the pot immediately. Leave the crabs to boil for 8 minutes.

3
Remove the crabs from the pot and place them in the refrigerator for a few hours (if you prefer them not too cold) or overnight (if you like cold crab meat in the chilled crab juice).
